Pre- and Post-Treatment Care Instructions

Before Treatment:

  1. Blood thinners: Avoid aspirin, ibuprofen, and fish oil 48 hours before treatment.

  2. Hydrate: Drink plenty of water to help your lips respond to fillers.

  3. Cold sores: Notify your provider if prone to cold sores; an antiviral may be prescribed.

After Treatment:

  1. Swelling/bruising: Apply a cold compress and avoid touching or kissing lips for 24 hours.

  2. Heat exposure: Avoid sun, saunas, and hot tubs for 48 hours.

Lip care: Do not apply lipstick or lip gloss for 24 hours.
